Packbox mineral desiccants are a range of inbox and container desiccants to protect cargo from moisture damage such as mold, fungus and rust. Montmorillonite clay is recommended as an inbox desiccant suitable to protect most types of cargo inside of crates, cartons and boxes. Active mineral desiccant which has higher absorption than MT can be used as either an inbox or container desiccant when not in direct contact with organic or metallic cargo.
